May Showers Bring June Babies!

So this past Sunday I was the proud co-host of my amazing friend Clare's baby shower ♥ It was the loveliest of parties. I get the social anxiety before gigs like this but was so relieved to find that all of the attendees were super cool ladies (a gent or two) & their kiddos. Easy to talk with. Such a great crowd, in fact, that we never even had to whip out our "in case of emergency" shower games! Thank goodness because shower games = uck uck hairball vom uck uck uck.

For reals guys, it was the most lovely, laid back shower ever. Yay for that!

When I got home I thought I might as well do a "what I wore" photo shoot. Be prepared to be underwhelmed. The dress is a recent thrift success I'm pretty excited about though...

I'm wearing: Dress (Meghan Los Angeles, thrifted) and Espadrilles (Old Navy). I also wore grey leggings to the shower so I wouldn't shock anyone with my hirsute albino legs. Bonus: Didn't flash my drawers either!

An aside: Lemon Lemon Baby I'm looking at you with those espadrilles!

So there you have it. Baby shower fun and in another month, even better, there will be a baby! We're calling her Gracezilla for now (that name c/o big sister). I'm so glad I'll be around to meet sweet miss before we head off to more northwesterly lands!

Hope everyone else had friend- and muffin-filled weekends! I owe so many of you blog visits. It's been a lil nuts around these parts. Like tonight I worked til 10pm. 10pm! I'm behind on my socializing, boo. What did I miss?
